Is it possible..
« on: May 09, 2006, 12:10:46 AM »
To get a black cover for a MQ? I really am tempted by one for the neck slot on my LP but in the shop it says they dont come with black covers.. Is there a standard size for hum-size P90's, so I could maybe order one from somewhere, then send to bareknuckle to get put on an MQ?

Cheers

Yeah just got the reply back from Tim aswell, this is great news  :D Just gotta get my neck mule sold now I guess before I can place an order. Oh and which black do I have? Its not shiny, but not "dull".. its like a slightly shiny satin but not gloss black!

Another Q. Whats the difference between the Manhattan and the MQ?

Cheers

As I understand it the manhattan is a jazz orientated Alnico III P90 with slightly different styling (look at the picture) whereas the MQ is more rock.  The Alnico IV neck MQ is awesome in its tone - it goes from BB King to Lesley West easily and works with a bridge Mule really well.
