I like him here better then his later playing, this is bare to the bones RAWK!

Heres an old interview from the mid 80's i found which i think was quite interesting.

I couple of days ago i had a convesation with someone about SRV(hes a huge fan and very good player), he told me he had just bought a LOG of a neck just like SRV seems to have according to him. He says the sound of a strat depends on how thick its neck is, big logs just sound best...

Agree or not, i definately like the SRV sound!

SRV now there's a guitarist I wish I could sound more like..what did he do to his amp...huge speaker
