More Epic - BKP Juggernaut content. Traditional metal tone.

Hi everyone,
I've not been around much.  I've been spending a lot of time learning about recording and mixing.  Here is a project that my friend hired me to work on.
He wrote the rhythm guitar part.  I wrote the lead guitar and bass parts.  I recorded the rhythm and lead guitar as well as the bass guitar.  Derrick Kroll from Votov recorded drums.  I mixed the song and Jamie Sitar mastered it.

Gear: Fender P-Bass with EMGs.  Markbass SA450 for clean and Revv Generator 120 purple channel for dirt.

Jackson Pro Rhoads V with a SD Dimebucker into a Mesa Boogie Mark V.  Torpedo live using a Standard Rectocab WTE virtual cabinet model with a shure SM57 and a royer ribbon mic.

Modded Godin Redline III with BKP Juggernauts into a Revv Generator 120.  Torpedo live using an ENGL XXL virtual cabinet model with a shure SM57 and SM7.
The two notes stuff is awesome and excellent for low noise home recording.

I did EQ the guitars because my goal was to create a final mix, not to try and demo gear.  But you'll get the idea ^_^

OK, obligatory product hawking.  I'm not endorsed by GGD, but I will say that Smash and Grab is an EXCELLENT plugin for mixing drums.  Easy to use and gives a pro result.  There is also an 'advanced mode' for someone who wants to use it as a traditional compression plugin.
