Title: A clear sound of the 7 string warpig
Post by: maliciousteve on September 25, 2005, 01:19:51 AM
Hey guys, my band Malicious have just put up a new song. The pickup really shines through on this recording.

I using a Washburn WG587V with a Marshall JCM900 into a Marshall 2 x 12

My guitar is panned to the right, i think my sound is alot tighter and defined. Totally cool.

Some feedback would be pretty cool.

It's just the stock washburn neck pickup. Not a bad pickup really, but the bridge pickup was pretty shitety. Thanks guys, it means alot to hear you say that  :D

I've actually been thinking about getting a new amp. I'm most interested in the Laney GH50 and the ENGL Thunder 50. But i'm not too sure really, what can these amps do that a JCM900 can't do? i'm guessing it would probably sound better if i had the chance to turn it up properly, so maybe adding a THD hotplate would be a good idea, what do you guys think?

Very cool.  I like how it slows down into some sludge and not just 100% speed all the time.

How is that Washburn??  I have looked it before, they are dirt cheap and I love my other washburn.  I think it might be my next guitar if I go 7 string!
