I think Tim would probably only recommend the Sinners to go with something like the Miracle Man.

Personally if I were to go for Sinners I would just change the pickguard (you can get wired pickguards with pickups from BKP) in a SSS configuration with a full set of stock-wound Sinners with baseplates.  The Sinner bridge is a brutal sounding single coil.

also, i'm going to see if they'd be willing to do an HSS set prewired for me but with the stockholm and 2 trilogy suites. its not one of the "sets" available so i'll have to see what they say. but that would be awesome if they could.

Worth checking.

You might also want to look into a good noise gate while you are at it, if you don't already have one!  Apparently the one I've got (ISP Decimator G-String) handles the 60 cycle hum of single coils pretty well.  I dare say the hotter you go the more noises you have to deal with, especially if you have a 'metal' amp.  It cuts out pretty much all of the awful hiss and other noises that my Peavey makes without it, with the dial set around 11.30-noon

Yeah seriously.  Every little thing I've asked for that wasn't a normal request they've been cool about.  Really great company

Maybe Tim said TS because they are more P90-esque pickups... with the silver baseplates, they have a fuller low end and more output... The sinners are indeed brutal, but they are darker than TSs...
If you go for hss, it's important to choose well the humbucker.. I'm not sure if the Miracle Man is the way to go in a strat in your case... maybe too scooped... I'd also think about Warpigs with sinners  or holydiver with trilogies for an overall versatile tone... the HD/TS combo to me sounds nice.

That's a nice balanced combo for sure. Of course the P90 is more noisy than a humbucker, but as they're thoroughly waxpotted it should not be excessive. I'm looking forward to your review.

yeah plus i have a boss noise suppressor that i've used for years so i'm not worried about any crazy noise. and i'm so glad that they are going to prewire a pickguard for me. i just need to decide on the pickguard and pickup covers

its daphne blue (baby blue). it has a white pearl pickgaurd now but its sort of aged so its a little darker which i like. i'm thinking one of these

1. white pearl
2. black pearl
3. black solid

will probably do all black pickup covers
