The skull was one of the factors that stopped me buying a Voodoo SG (that, and the fact they discontinued the model just when I finally did decide to buy one).

Juansolo had one.

Indeed, I'll dig out the group shot if I've still got it.

Edit: found it

Indeed, although I must say I do prefer the original look with the red/black zebra pickups (now available from BKP too!)  :D

Are they lightweights, or were Gibson not too picky about their swamp ash selection?
BKPs I've Got:  RR, BKP-91, ITs, VHII, CS set, Emeralds
BKPs I Had:  RY+Abraxas, Crawlers, BD+SM

Both are very light (and bright). It was before I discovered BKPs when I had it so it had SD's in (cheap to import at the time). I originally got a JB/59, but the JB tore your head off in it. Ended up with a Distortion in there. The standard Gibbys were horrid. Reckon it'd suit a Holydiver bridge/Cold Sweat neck down to the ground.

They really do look very good (complemented by the photography, again!).   :D

Are those Sperzel tuners (replacing Grovers, presumably)?

Really nice looking guitars there, love the natural deep-stained wood look!

I'm glad I'm not the only who felt the Gibson 500T didn't fit the guitar very well. It's not just my ears then, I can rest assured. :-)

It's not my #1, but lets post the picture anyway to make the series almost complete (anybody got the V)?

I haven't really settled on a pickup yet, but this guitar really needed new pots. I had to replace all pots and the three-way switch on this one.
Current BKPs: Miracle Man, Nailbomb, Juggernaut, VHII
Past BKPS: Holy Diver, Trilogy Suite, Sinner, Black Dog

My bubinga baritone is like voodos too, bright. Had a 500t in it was really crispy. Then the nailbomb was nice but ended up ordering a holy diver.

Nice voodoos ;). im planning to get a black V and go for some red/black coils pickups ^^ to make it look like a voodoo.

How's the MM work in the LP?
I nearly bought a V, if I'd realised at the time how rare they were I would have gone an extra £100.  It was only 10 miles away too.
