me too...but how will lego affect tone.

Would the sound be a bit brighter?

It's probably gonna be a lighter, airier tone... and the cab will be so much easier to transport, just break it into little segments.

A bigger problem is coming home wanting to play and finding that your kids have rebuilt your speaker cab into a spaceship or a castle

^ ^ ^ LoL!

but seriously...

Has anyone any experience of these? Seems like it might be a good way to go to get a 2 x 15" extension cab for my 5150...

I rather fancy plugging my head into a castle-shaped lego cabinet.

"Use me... use me to buy copious amounts of Lego."

Duplo is probably what you want for cabinets anyway; it's much thicker and would come in less bits.

Just don't use the Technics Lego as it's too full of holes which would rob you of valuable tone :D

I still have bucket loads of Lego (I'm 31 with no kids! :D ) but even my old stocks from my own childhood days probably aren't enough to build a decent 2x12 let alone a 4x12

single pieces of high quality tone lego are so difficult to get hold of these days

on the plus side, if you notice a rattle you just need to squeeze it a bit in a few places and it should sound "like new" again.
