$500 per HOUR.  Damn, he must be really hard up.

Considering $500 will get you a two year membership at George Lynch's Dojo, and people like Chris Broderick (Nevermore) to lessons for $50 an hour I'm not sure that's value for money.  ;)

Wonder if you get a refund when he's "ill" and fails to show up for the lesson?  :?

Of course it's 500 $.. Just imagine the time it would take him to teach you to play with only 3 fingers :D :D :D

I dread to think what he may abuse at times.....a real shame - wish he would get his act together as on a good day he is beyond comparison.

This might prove easier on the pocket for now

I've got that DVD - doesn't really work for me as a learning method, I find it hard work trying to follow Dave Kilminster's hands and he's a bit dull to listen to.  Wish it came with a tab book.

+1 on Dave K being a better player than he is a teacher.

Just seen this on Blabbermouth.com - what a lineup
I much preferred Gary Barden as the singer for MSG, with the possible exception of Graham Bonnet.....

Legendary guitarist Michael Schenker is currently setting up a concert tour under the banner MICHAEL SCHENKER & FRIENDS. The trek will include stops in almost all of UK's rock clubs starting on January 10 and stretching as far as March.

In other news, Schenker is planning to release a new MICHAEL SCHENKER GROUP (MSG) album in April, to be followed by a world tour. Entitled "In the Midst of Beauty", the CD will feature the following lineup:

Gary Barden - Vocals
Simon Philips (TOTO, THE WHO) - Drums
Glenn Hughes (DEEP PURPLE, BLACK SABBATH) - Bass
Don Airey (DEEP PURPLE, RAINBOW) - Keyboards

A tour featuring Barden on vocals will kick off following the album release.

Wow!  :D   That's the lineup from the classic first album, but with Glenn Hughes replacing Mo Foster.  Only Schenker himself could let the side down there...

That's also cause MSG just fired their singer.

Yes - never liked Yari (I'm sure he was a nice enough guy) - his voice wasnt right for most of the MSG stuff - he seemed really good at the Graham Bonnet stuff but the UFO and Barden stuff sounded weird with him singing it

But that lineup should be great if Schenker can get & keep his stuff together

The Classic touring lineup with Gary Barden that had Paul Raymond, Chris Glenn and Cozy Powell was something else though!
