This is just a quick clip to show the lead and clean sounds with the Abraxas IV's. It has taken ne ages to get something working to record to the PC! I am using a Johnson J-Station and the lead part was recorded with the JCM800 -EL34 emulation, the clean part was the Black Face. I recorded it into Sonar 3 using the SPDIF output into a Tascam PCI 822.
The first part of the lead is the Neck Pickup, then the bridge, then back to the neck for the last part of the bass notes. The clean sound starts with the bridge, then the neck and ends on both pickups.
Hope you can get an idea of the sound from this. Once I get more used to it, I will record something properly (using a real amp though!).

Very impressed by the clean part too. Under gain, it's Santanesque to the bone!
