it sounds great , but not what i want..
its a semi hollow, so a warpig may not be needed
-
if it's not what you want... what do you want? give us a chance!
-
its got 57 classics, something warm . a bit hotter than a vintage , but not too hot
-
Black Dog bridge, Mule neck
-
I'd suggest a VHII set. The bridge is vintage hot, and the neck pickup is very good even for jazz. (so I've heard :) )
-
semi-hollows sound very good with a gibson dirty fingers pickup, which is like the shitety version of a cold sweat, soooo i say Cold Sweat bridge pickup, mule neck...
Not sure how well that'd balance, but definately cold sweat in the bridge. maybe even a MQ in the neck?
-
cold sweat eh?
-
IMHO cold sweat in a semi hollow is only good for rock since it's ceramic(the guy from blink182 has a dirty fingers in his 335 signature). You can't really expect a nice mellow clean tone with a cold sweat. I still think that a VHII in the bridge and perhaps a mule or stormy monday would be MUCH more versatile. :)

I'm with Hunter - Black Dog bridge and Mule neck would be great!

i was thinking mule for the neck.. must check out vhii and dog clips

I love the Classic 57's in semi-hollows.

I havent tried Mules in a semi hollow but theyre awesome in my LP so I will recommend them - if you need anything hotter than that you're just not playing hard enough :P
