After about 18months and several hundered emails to Tim, who has the patience of a Saint, I finally decided on the a set of BKP's.
These are a paired set of BKP-90s with chrome covers, which were ordered on a Monday and arrived four days later. I haven't installed them as yet but if they are half as good as the service I've received so far and from the posts and sound clips I have read/ heard they will be awesome!
Once they are in I will post a pic and hopefully a sound clip or two.
It's nice to be part of club at last!!!!

Congrats :)
What guitar are they going in? I have a set of AII P90s in a Les Paul Special and they sound fantastic...

They will be going into a Gibson LP Faded DC. The original units are quite harsh sounding, so I am hoping for a smoother sound!
What range of tones/ styles do you get out of yours?

I roll the volumes back to around 7 or 8 and dial in the amp for a light crunch rhythm tone, adjusting the tone controls to suit the song. I then roll the volume down further for very clean stuff, or crank it to 10 for a thick overdrive lead tone. Such a versatile setup - it's one of my favourite sounding guitars.
