I'm thinking of building myself a small pedalboard to use in my new band as I'm currently hooking up two or three pedals all the time. However, I don't want to stick velcro on the bottom of my pedals.
Is there any way I can set up a decent board without using Velcro?

Use some cable ties, you may have to link a couple together to get it round bigger pedals. All you have to do is make a couple of little holes in the pedalboard for the cable tie to go through :)

Kerching! Why didn't I think of that???? A trip to B&Q is on the cards then...

MAGNETS!!

Nah, they'd affect the inter-pospicular field of the signal path and ruin my tone......

Slave children to hold them in place?

:D :D :D
I use link plates from an old bike chain. Once again I'm cr@p at explaining how to do it, so I'll do an excellent ms paint diagram:

Guess there will be a few poor guys around Europe now finding their bikes chainless and walking home

I use screws with a hole in them, normally for hanging things on the ceiling(dont know how they are called in english). You can get those large enough to put the jack inside and when screwed to a board you can easily alter your setup. For bigger stompoxes i use thin leather straps which i just nail to the board.
Ill try to make a pic later tomorrow.

Uni-bond no more nails. It actually can hold a chair to a wall and you can sit on it..... Our old common room "accidentally" turned upside down because of it.... ahhh

PAH! - Someone beat me to it. Araldite will work too
What about Hubba-Bubba?
Seriously though, the link from the bike chain is a good idea - seen it done before on another forum.

I use them to hold my wah and volume pedal to my board as they're too heavy for velcro.
