Have a TT have 3 1x12 all Fane, 2 are dual concentrics...which sound great when cranked...but low vol sound a bit to trebly for me(are 100 or 150w so guess thats why)
Have one uknown model fane is great but want something more...erm kick with a bit more bass for distortion
As a 1x12 on it's own which is the best alrounder for this the v30 or g12h..at lowish and high volumes..with a TT(will buy the other later I hope for a 1x12...but a lot later)

Try Celestion HOT100 and if you don't like it its only £34.
I play low volume most of the the time and mine's great.
-
Out of the two you say, a G12H will be better at low to medium volumes. The V30 only sounds good with plenty of power through it.
-
ok then a hot 100 v's the g12 h ....?
-
Get an Eminence Texas Heat instead.
-
texas heat ahh more choice....had 3 now 4

I'd get a G12H-30, they're great for just about anything.
The Classic Lead 80 is also a fave of mine - excellent chunk in the low end. I think of them as being somewhere between a V30 and G12H-30.

I have a Classic Lead 80 in a 1x12 cab and it's a great 'all rounder' I find :)

-
for not going for the Heritage version methinks, its an extra £20 per speaker?
-

-
They're very similar speakers, and I was taking the pi55 ;)
