Title: Cutting DVD's

I need to cut part of a DVD file that I have. Is there any way of doing this for free? The file won't open on movie maker as the file type is 'DVD Movie'. I only want to cut out a bit of footage.

DVD shrink - I may have the installer somewhere - will look for it

then use 3GP to make it whatever file you want, and then put in movie maker

 - there is no doubt a shorter way though
