Title: Need help finding a 3 wheeler
Post by: Woogie on November 04, 2007, 09:13:45 PM
Basically me and a friend have put together some money for a 3 wheeler but we can't find one. The only requirements are 50cc, has a roof and seats 2 or more. Our budget isn't big either, we're only 16.

Anyone know of anything in the UK? We are not interested in bikes. Anything will do be it a milk float or car :).

Cheers

That thing on topgear last week. The one you can carry into an office and drive around in it.

Lol

Being serious now, is that a Reliant Robin? Is it available in a 50cc version?

Cheers

Well what exactly is your budget?
have you paid for training for the license, and enough saved for insurance?

Maybe better to save for another year for a real car, its a lot of money  :(

Not got a massive budget, but the CBT course and insurance is not much at all. We don't mind if it's a heap really, aslong as it moves!! My older friend purchased an old Ford Fiesta for £20 haha.

Basically, if the Robin is available in 50cc I would like to see it :D.

be manly and get a Quad, or a bike. You WILL be laughed at in a 3 wheeler. I would look out for Reliant Robins on ebay to give you an idea on price but they might be expensive since they are semi-classic cars. Clones of them should be cheap.

IT CAN'T REVERSE.

Neither could the old bubble cars apparantly. Which was a swine since you got out through the front...

I'd rather been seen wet on a 50cc bike than in a plastic pig.  Christ, I'd even have a scooter before one of those things.  My grandad used to have one of them and the local kids used to turn it upside down occassionally.

According to People.co.uk, Ozzy Osbourne is auctioning the quad bike that nearly killed him.

The 350cc Banshee still has a dented front bar and split rear guard from the 2003 accident.

It is expected to fetch £1,500 (approximately $3,000) in a sale of memorabilia by the star and his wife/manager Sharon. Ozzy, 58, who broke several bones in the crash at his Buckinghamshire estate, said: "I don't know why we're selling everything — I want it all. But Sharon says if we don't get rid of some stuff our house will $%&#ing explode."

How about that?

Is it true that a Robin Reliant without reverse gear is allowed for a 16 year old??
