At The Brixton Academy. They were fantastic, really tight, the sound wasn't too bad either.
The crowd were going nuts and everyone sung (shouted) along to every song.
Steve Jones guitar sounded really cool, the grinding riffs were just so tight and cool sounding, even though he looks like a builder in a pub on a Friday night!
He plays a vintage white Burny Les Paul with some cool little 40's style pinup mascots on it through two Marshall JCM 800's.
Anyone else go?

went to see pendulum at fabric on friday, and heaven and hell in brighton on sunday... no more gigs for me for a while :)

No they dug up Sidney but he still can't quite get to grips with it, he still smells bad too!!  Very poor taste, just as they were 30years ago!
Holidays in the sun was great jt! They played really well, Johnny Rotten still lets the crowd sing a lot of the verses ect but the band were spot on.
Yes Glen Matlock was on Bass, he can 'alf give it some!! He wrote most of their riffs so I understand.
I filmed some of it on my digital camera but as I was on the fringes of the mosh pit it got a bit wobbly! I'd put it on youtube but there big 400meg files and windows movie maker doesn't recognise the file format so I can't reduce it to the youtube 100m limit. But I shall sort it sometime.

Not quite the same I know but the Sex Pistols have re-recorded some stuff for Guitar Hero 3 when it comes out. I've never played any of that series but I'm tempted by no. 3.

I've heard about the Guitar Hero stuff The Pistols did. I had a go on an arcade machine years ago. What console is it on?

Looks like PS2&3, Wii and 360. Also looks liek you can buy different 'guitar' controllers.

The wii one sounds like fun!
There's a video here from the gig I shot with my digital camera. It's the start of the gig, it came out really well I thought.

What amp did Steve Jones use on Nevermind the Bollocks? I love that tone. I think it was a Fender of some kind but I may be wrong?

As far as I know Tom the recording was with an AC30 with only one speaker working which may have been slashed + lots of compression.
It's a great ballsy tone isn't it! I've not got bored with that album in 30 years and was the reason I wanted to play a guitar meself!
He toured with a few Fenders but they didn't have the same aggresive tone.
