Please Help I’m confusing myself!
I have a strat which was originally loaded with Seymore Duncan Single coils.
This single coil set has a RWRP middle so hum cancels in positions 2+4 on the 5 way switch
I then replaced the bridge Duncan with a BKP “Uber” Sinner - therefore position 2 is no longer hum cancelling
Question:
If I buy an Irish Tour and place it in the neck position then move the original SD neck pickup to the middle position
Would I then return to having a single coil set with a RWRP middle which hum cancels in positions 2+4?

sounds like the SD mid and BK bridge are electrically and magnetically in phase, so by my thinking you're right, the neck is rwrp vs the BK wind.
You could go stock and not bother with the hum cancelling, it sounds better according to Tim, I've just got my Apache set (stock) I'll let you know what I find!

Thanks!
I'd love to know if you think they do sound better.
I just have an obsessive issue with noise but I know that goes hand in hand with the joys of single coils.

Hmmm, there is a bit of an issue with SD coils as they tends to be South up magnetically but wound top going top right, which would be a BKP RWRP.
Fender have changed their wind/polarity several times over the years but generallt South up and top going top left is considered stock.
Sooooooo.....your idea should work :D
