i don't get it? why did they do it under cover? why not just to the guys "hi, I'd like to fix your clock for free"?

Hey Indy... perhaps something like:

* They don't want to be beside of the government and allies

* It's a way to show how 'much' the Gov't cares about it

* Because the adrenaline that "not alowed" things brings (that would be a little childist reason)

*and go on...

* FWIW: way of protest
