Hi everyone,
Having won a battle with my girlfriend to be able to keep my guitar in the lounge (helped by the fact that I dumped my massive ugly spider II and purchased a fender champion 600 which she thinks looks good enough to keep in the living room), I need to sort something out to contain my pedals.
I've only got (or have plans to purchase soon) 4 pedals in my board (overdrive, reverb, eq and wah). The problem comes from the fact I also have a boss rc-50 loop station...
I'm really missing the "plug in and play" thing, and am fed up with having to arrange the pedals each time, yet cant leave them around because it looks a state!
I want to continue with the 50s theme that the champ has, and was thinking about buying a tweed guitar case, and setting up the pedals in there, was just wondering what the general consensus was (is this feasable?? Is there enough room in a guitar case? I've only ever had gig bags)
I was looking at getting something like this:

And putting the RC50 and power supply in the guitar body section, and the other pedals in the headstock section...
I've just realised what a ridiculous topic this is, but I dont want to waste money on a case if the project wont work...
Thanks in advance

Buy a decent pedalboard with flightcase, they're worth the money.

I'd go with a dedicated pedalboard - much, much simpler. And smaller!
-
Buy some MDF or plywood, some tweed material, and rubber feet, and build your own board :)
-
yeah i'd go with building your own. that way you can make it look *even nicer*!
i started with simply laying my pedals out how i wanted them, then measuring the size of board i would need. abit of velcro to stick them down with and a flightcase - sorted!

Ive heard really good things about these:

Thanks for the replies guys,
I did look at getting a flightcase/pedal board, the problem that I have is that the RC50 alone is 19" wide, which means that the flight cases simply aren't wide enough.
I'm figuring of a width of about 32" to allow for the RC50 and 3 pedals...

hmm, yeah they are pretty wide haha.
if it was me i'd be tempted to put the RC50 along the bottom of the pedal board, and then have your other pedals sitting behind it. that's the way i run my board, as my amp footswitch (avt150h) is pretty damn wide and takes up my whole board.

Lol, no you can put a rackmount on top of the pedalboard like you can see in the images linked below.

or you could do it that way ;)

Mine's 32" ;) and so's my pedalboard.
