Title: BKP's equivalent to EMG 81/85s? CLOSED > Duplicate thread

Hey,

I've been looking into replacing the pickups on my Gibson Les Paul Custom to a pair of EMG 81/85s (im sure i will install BKPs in my HSS guitar but im having second thoughts on the Gibson). What is BKPs answer to EMGs? Is there anything which sounds fairly similar? (ie. balls to the wall metal)

I know there is a lot of talk about the ceramic warpigs but would they be suited to a Les Paul?
