Title: Nailbomb doing Led Zep

I recently got a cheap MI Audio Crunch Box so thought I'd do a clip. Its my Gibson SG with nailbomb bridge into the crunchbox into my marshall dsl100 with a very light gain setting on the amp.

AWESOME - the original shoulda sounded like this

EDIT: this made me wanna play - so i learned the song, cranked up my amp in my uni flat and played for about half an hour before 3 security guards came by to tell me to turn it down :twisted:

Thanks for the comments, I'm really liking the crunch box so far, I think I actually prefer it to my amps distortion so I'm very pleased :D

Haha thats awesome, the same thing happened to me when I was recording it, exept instead of 3 security guards it was just a very angry mum :lol:

Love this tone, the Nailbomb sounds really aggressive and thick, and I want one now! I used to have a crunchbox and it sounded pretty good, but was way too similar to the distortion on my Laney. Heres a comparison clip actually, I cant tell any difference - http://www.netmusicians.org/files/82-cb%20vs%20laney.mp3

Amp wasnt very loud tho so its a bit fizzy and thin.

I think I prefer the sound of the Laney on that clip as well, although they both sound excellent.

It's got a bit more muscle than the orginal tone, kind of more modern lol at the security guards.

what settings wherr eon the crunchbox?
