Title: Rhythm/treble ring
Post by: psy on December 13, 2007, 09:46:23 AM
Does anyone know anywhere in the UK that make custom rhythm/treble rings that go on the 3 way switch of a LP?

I was thinking about getting our singer one that has 'Love' & 'Hell' on it in chrome (or silver) because are favourite Ryan Adams album is Love Is Hell...  and her guitar doesn't have one on at the moment.

Get a plain metal one and I'll engrave it for you if you like?

Ahh, didn't know you could get plain ones.  I could get one of them & one of those places that cuts keys & engraves dog tags to do the engraving.

Thanks mate.  Now I just have to find a plain metal ring.

I had seen a plain nickel one on eBay at one stage when I was hunting for metal pickups surrounds, so they do exist......but where you can find one now I'm not too sure.

You can get those at a hardware store, they go up to about 3" i think, variable inner diameter.

There are loads of places that do custom truss-rod covers on ebay.  I see no reson why that couldn't be applied to a rhythm/treble ring.

Like a penny washer?  that kind of thing?  I'll see what they've got in the stores where I work tomorrow :)
