I don't get who i'm supposed to be looking at haha it's just Testament!
-
I suspect it's the fact that Alex Skolnik is in one piccy that Ben is referring to
-
Oh right, probs because i already knew he was back haha.
-
It's not news that Skolnik is back, but these things have a way of falling apart (look at Joey Belladonna's return to Anthrax).
So, even if egos or whatever get in the way later, there WILL be another Testament album with Skolnik!!
-
I thought Skolnik was a jazzer now, doing jazz versions of heavy tunes or something or other.
-
Is that Paul Bostaph on drums? I didn't realise he was in Testament.

"Unfortunately Nick Barker will not be recording with TESTAMENT on this new album, due to Homeland Security and International Work Visa issues. Rather than delaying this long awaited return of TESTAMENT, the band has chosen to recruit Paul Bostaph, long time friend and member, to record on the much anticipated album, which is tentatively scheduled for a spring 2008 release via Nuclear Blast. Paul Bostaph will join the ranks alongside originating classic thrash legends Chuck Billy on vocals, Alex Skolnick on lead guitar, Eric Peterson on rhythm guitar and Greg Christian on bass."

Considering how amazing First Strike Still Deadly was, I have high expectations for this one! Even higher than the new Priest, in fact.
-
Yeah the new Testament album has been one of my top 2008 releases for pretty long now, can't wait for it!
Especially considering Alex Skolnick is my favourite guitarist :P
-
soo.. who's that guy supposed to be?
-
I always loved early Testament, live at Eindhoven is especially great.
The last album I got by them was Souls Of Black and it wasn't much cop. Haven't got anything by them since. Might have to checkout some of their other stuff though, been a long time.

And Andy Sneap is producing, I think he did First Strike... and it sounds great.
