my friend recorded it with my ex-les paul (brazilian mahogany/imbuya top/dark brazilian rosewood fretboard) fitted with miracle man set, a zambelli (my bandmate, he builds pedals and amps) custom 5150 emulator pedal (it's a Peavey 5150 circuit with diode gain stages instead of tubes, like the dr. boogey) and the cr@pPIEST brazilian solid state cube ever: wattsom cube 60, 8" speaker, 15w (it costed about £35 new lol)
the song is Machine Head's "Halo"
sorry for the cr@ppy recording and the chinese (de)tuning pegs

Bass seems pretty good considering the product used: very full and rich. However the high mids and highs sound a bit shitee, most likely due to the solid state aspect.

I liked it all things considered!
Great playing too.

Cool sound, would surely sound nice in recording context.

Yes... In did it's a miracle man... you guys wouldn't believe what is a Wattsom amplifier... :D
-
It sounds slightly out of phaze, but it would sound good within a mix, and that's all that matters, I prefer the sound of this to lots of bigger valve amps, because it's rawer.

It's something like this:
