Title: Quick Rebel Yell clip (also a question about VHII)

Not sure if I like this pickups rhythm sounds enough to keep it yet (though the lead tones are so good), anyone compared the VHII to it? I compared this guitar with my LP (Mules) and this sounds a bit boxy so would a VHII be a bit more open? I'm using it with 250k pots in a strat, dunno if that contributes to any boxiness or anything?

Might as well post the lead clip of the RY I did, though its mostly singlecoils
