Well done Joe. Now the real learning begins.

SWEET! Be careful - i passed my test a few months ago and I've already written off my car :( and another one, and a tree, and a wall, and a fence, and two gardens...
-
:D Congrates !
Be careful !!!!
Dont think because you`ve passed your test you can take risks. Relax drive sensibly & enjoy it !

haha cheers guys, yeh i'm staying safe i can't be arsed with all this boy racer stuff that some of my mates are into, it's just dangerous and i don't see the point in it.

Congrats man :) Be careful in the winter weather, it's all too easy to get into trouble with ice! You seem pretty sensible, which is a nice thing to see with new drivers- far too many mod their cars to daft standards, and act like kids behind the wheel.
Good feeling when you pass, nice little Christmas present to yourself :p

Well done Joe! Yes, best leave the boy racer stuff, it's not like the good old days now!
-
spot on matey, well done! That sense of accomplishment is amazing isn't it!

Yep dont act like a tw@t when driving and you'll be allright. One of my mates wrote off his car and a new focus less than 5 hours after passing his test because he was "showing off" and accellerated into a pretty much blind corner
-
Well done mate. Freedom!
-
Well done Joe, it good to pass first time :)
+1 to all the comments advising caution. Far too many late teens/early 20s think they are invincible. Remember that when you do something silly, not only are you risking your own life but also your passengers & any other motorists/pedestrians/cyclists etc near you. As my grandmother use to say "You're a long time in a wheelchair & longer dead"
Also, make sure you book a motorway lesson! (assuming it's the same as in my day - you couldn't go on the motorway until you'd passed) Motorways can be especially dangerous to inexperienced drivers...
-
Well, can't say its worth another thread, but I finally got there. Test yesterday, and got more faults than last time :? but no majors. 5 lessons in 8 months and I was good to go :)
both times I have had a woman called Beth test me, and apparently does not favour passing males.
-
Well done man! i hope i pass first time whenever i get around to it :)
-
"Another danger on the road!", says every driving instructor over here.
'Grats.

Lol, thanks. won't be on the road for a few months though anyway, no car, parents are tw@ts. Atleast its out the way
