i am gonna buy an ibanez 7 string i think. my mind is split between the s7320 and the rg1527. i think i would prefer the rg but i like the sound of the zr trem on the s7. does anyone know how hard it would be to put a zr trem from the s into the rg??? is it even possible?
thanks alot everyone!!

I wouldn't think about the bridge, if it's comfortable (if you can try it out) go with it.
But the RG7 is made of Basswood and the S7 (as usual) is Mahoghany so if you know your wood, go with whatever you prefer in that.
As well as, the RG7 having a thicker neck, radius 430mm, and the S7 @ 400mm although it is 19mm (1st) and 21mm (12th) than the RG's 18mm and 21mm respectively.
But yeah, think about the bridge too. I wouldn't suggest swapping them around, etc.

I say go with the S tbh.

the new rg's will have the edge zero trem

so the s7 seems to get the vote here but is there anyone who the thinks the rg7 is a better choice?

The S7320 is one of the best 7 string I've ever tried but well, I love the S serie so... :D best trem system ever made.

Look around for a 7620 2nd hand.. much better!!

year im quite leaning towards the s7320 now. but im deffinatly thinking about getting an rg7620 or 7621 second hand. worth it?
with the zr trem bridge can you down tune because i currently drop my 7 to G..........Phat. If you can i will get an S7320!
Im quite good with Normal floyd rose but never experienced the ZR
Cheers all.

I've been wanting a new 7 string too.
Aside from the custom ones from feline and BM and the legra, and any other shops, which would be my first choice, the s7320 is looking pretty good too.
one thing I'm wondering though is the bridge on the s7320, is it low profile?
