Currently considering a PRS purchase, and was wondering how thin the wide-thin neck is, and roughly wha shape it is, compared to, say, a PRS wide-fat and a Fender US Modern c-shape?
Cheers,
Si

I can't compare it to the other necks you mentioned unfortunately, but I can give you my own impressions.
I would say it's not as thin or flat as a wizard-style neck, whilst being much less rounded than a typical chunky Les Paul neck.
Overall very, very comfortable, and slim without being too skinny.

Same thing for me.Very comfortable and easy to play.About the same as my Squier Strat Jv but better. If you prefer the rounder neck, take the wide-fat but i find the wide-thin to be a very good compromise:not too flat and not too thin... 8)

I played a few grands worth of PRS a few weeks ago and must say that it played very well. It was very easy on the hands.

The WF neck is also beautiful, dosn't feel chunky at all. But the WT is rather nice. I suppose its quite close to a Charvel neck as opposed to a Wizard.
Charvel necks are however the best necks ever :D

Cheers for the replies guys, it's looking good so far. I don't mind a bit of meat on a neck, but don't want a baseball bat.
Best neck ever for me is my Warmoth - same shape as a Fender C, but a tad thinner. Can't take Ibanez Wizard or the like - waaaaaayy too thin for me.

I have a PRS SE which is supposed to be between wide fat and wide thin.
For me (small hands with thick fingers) it always needs getting used to. If you have longer fingers it's great I supposed.
For me the Baja as well as the Edwards LP necks were like tailored to me.

I can't play Fenders :( And I agree, necks can be too thin, thats why I love the Charvel necks, BEAUTIFUL.
Even the PRS WF neck is gorgeous though :D

I have a WF on a CE22 and for me its just perfect- similar to my strat plus deluxe in shape but a tad thinner. I did try the WT but ended up with cramps in my left hand.
