Do BKPs, when supplied with a cover, always have black open coils underneath, or might the odd one have a cream coil thingy.
Chris.

I am pretty certain that you can ask for any combination you like if you are ordering directly.
-
I think it depends on what was at hand!
-
Uusally we 'll use black coils but occasionally we do use cream and even white.

There is a Duncan custom that I had a cover retrofitted to that will be a real treat for whoever decides to remove the cover.
It has one hot pink coil and one dark blue!!!!!
-
Serves them right for getting Duncans.

Actually it was a good sounding pickup- was an OLD one from about 1987, when they were doing stuff the right way.
But I take your point Phil :D
