Title: tone test for a thrash song (original) miracle man bridge

I arent exactly what i want for the tone on this song? i got the closest i could think of but im at a complete block.

I'm no critic (see my cr@ppy clips!) but I'd say that needs more high end and attack, and theres some boominess going on in the low mids, I think.

Its a nice tone, but it sounds more stoner than thrash, is all.

cheers man ill have a tweak tomorrow and see if i can find something that fits better

Agreed. More treble and/or presence and it'll sound much more aggressive.

the clip is very sloppy, i hate recording it makes everyhting so much harder to play

I don't really enjoy it as much cause one tiny thing you'd ignore if you were playing normally, you have to stop and record again.

It's very good practise though - really tightens up your playing like nothing else! (especially if you double track your riffs).

It's very good practise though - really tightens up your playing like nothing else! (especially if you double track your riffs).

Yeah but you can't help but go "F***!", when that ding sounds off :(
