Does anyone have one of these?

The forum and box itself/instructions don't help AT ALL. Which is quite appalling (sp).

Pretty much just getting to recording. It doesn't seem to register, even if I plug in and play and such.

need abit more info bud.
I have a UX2 but should be similar. It is NOT a recording device but an interface.
You need a program like audacity or reaper (free) or sonar etc. and then set the UX1 as your input for that program.
If it's more intense than that please post more so we can help ya.

I would guess it works the same as amplitube/other modelling software? For amplitube in reaper I just open up reaper, make a new track, monitor it, then add amplitube as an effect for that track.

Sorry about the previous post, I had been out to a friend's birthday and I was totally bladdered. Luckily I typed all the right keys that it even made a message.

It says 'Recording and Modelling Interface' so I'm hoping that means Recording? o_O

right first of all have you installed all the drivers?

if not get line6 monkey from line6.com

and install gearbox the drivers and the newest firmware if there is one.

Don't install the software from the CD it's seriouslyt outdated.

I use Adobe audition 1.5 to record.

All you have to do is set up the tone how you want using gearbox then in your recording program set the toneport as the sound input then set that track for recording and hit record and away you go.

Hopefully that helps if it still doesnt PM me and ill add you on msn or something so i can guide you through it one part at a time.

I have a UX2 and I LOVE it. Great for home practise and recording.
