Yeah, I did enjoy that and the look on the faces of the Arsenal supporters at work. I am not that into football however my Mum is a Spurs fan and I kinda gravitate to them out of loyalty to the old lady.I enjoyed playing dumb and vague and asking questions like : "Didn't Spurs play Arsenal last night? I forgot to see the score, can you help?".

Nice tactics Steve! :lol: The People who own the firm I work for are all Arsenal and have private boxes at the Emirates, their basically a bunch of villains gone straight-ish. Anyway they were all in work early to focus their anger on me the next day! I nearly pissed myself laughing at them as they're such bad losers. So We all stayed out of each others way after that and no-one mentions it now as they hate it and I need my job! I never realised how much a flash point it is to a Gooner to loose. Nothing lasts for ever though does it.

Yes it seemed too popular for it's own good after 3.500 hits in 48hrs! Although it didn't show any actual football in play it was as the teams came on to the pitch from the dressing rooms just before kick off and the crowd noise above all else.
Interestingly there are a lot of Arsenal videos still on you tube from previous Carling Cup matches but the Tottenham ones get taken off. Sour grapes? :lol:

The drummer in my band ( a southerner who supports Liverpool due to some tenuous link with that City) made his usual sarcastic remarks about Spurs.They border on the anti semitic ( but he is too stupid to actually mean it at any meaningful level) when I thought he's be pleased that they took out a team that is a stronger rival to his. Once again I played the dumb/naive role and suggested that it wouldn't have hurt if they'd have let Havant win yesterday and if they'd have been true sportsman they'd have cut them some slack. He waffled for ages about FA cup blah blah -t'was funny.

I just got in a situation in my local with a gooner who thinks he Spurs fans shouldn't enjoy a bit of success. He didn't have much to say after I gave him the benefit of my opinion. :D
Keep up the Louis Theroux naive tactics Steve, they work wonders in piss taking situations!! :lol:
