Plugged it in tonight, first time since my amp was retubed and BAM! It blew my pants clean off. Red Lace Sensor + clean boost + JCM900 = aural godliness.
Now, I would definately appreciate some BKP-related input (http://www.bareknucklepickups.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=11226) if some of you would be so kind? *flutters eyelashes in a totally manly way*

i just bought Sue a Fender Custom Shop Strat that has been fitted with Irish Tours, sounds AWSOME right off the bat, and she's only had it a few hours so with some amp / setup tweaking I'm expecting good things.
The Irish Tour set gives a great variation between the pups, the middle is my favourite, some really nice warm tones played clean. The neck gives great highs played clean. The bridge is for playing dirty I think, and we've not experimented with that too much yet, I'll get back to you after the weekend!

I changed out the lace sensors (Red Silver and Blue) on a Strat plus deluxe to a calibrated set of Mothers Milks as I wanted that 60's strat vibe. It was a great improvement in terms of the tone- obviously not a s much push ( the Red lace is 17K ish) but I wasn't happy with the guitars suitability (locking Fender/floyd and roller nut) so I bought a Standard US strat and put the MM in there and they're spot on. I'm now running a single VHII in the deluxe and its my go to 80's guitar

I can't see these Lace Sensors ever leaving. They're purrrrfect.

For me the sensors felt sterile and fake- but each to their own............
