Currently leaning towards a pair of Nailbums.

Option 2 (see my avatar)
I prefer my guitars to look bug eyed, rather than cross eyed :D
-
Option 2 as well.
I think with the black blending into the pickup rings it forces people to "see" 2 white single coils that stand out. Single coils are traditionally up tight with the fretboard and close to the bridge so I think it's just seeing what we're used to that looks "better".

That's a very good point y'know.

I just wanted to let you know before you order, option 1 is reverse zebra, both pickups, option 2 is zebra, both pickups. This gives you BK's colour schemes:

btw. I picked option 1 because I like the black coil against the fingerboard.

Saw it in t'other thread, many thanks for clearing that up!

the second one struck me as the nicer looking of the 2 on first glance

i voted option 2, but i think matte black covers would look even better

OOF! Don't confuse/arouse me even further!! :(
I think the zebras would be a nice touch because the red is quite a deep colour and the black flaming is quite dark also, it'd give it a little bit more light colour.

I think you should have a rethink and get one of these ... :D

Or, if you really want to stand out from the rest of the band, you may like this one ......

Originally thought option two, but then the post about how single coils are usually cllose to the fretboard etc made me remember something like the G Lynch guitar, and I don't like the fingerboard hugging SC so much.
But, black covered would be cool :D

Black covered was planned for my (hopefully eventual) "blackout" Strat - black, rosewood board, black plate and hardware and black covered pickups. 8)

I agree, i think you should get this one too; just make sure it is made out of mahogany first :!:

surely that would need an ebony board

I'd agree if the whole guitar had black hardware. It would look quite similar to one of the ESP Eclipses I reckon..
That said, definitely go for zebra's with cream outside bobbins. ;)

reverse

I had to go for the first one; t he second one made me go boss eyed for some reason!

burnt chrome
Or something
