I'm always put off my Gordon Smith's use of wrapover bridges - I'd much rather have a proper decent TOM.

We can certainly help but the price point may be the stumbling block
We have a pretty fair selection of already made axes which we are only too happy to do deals on, but making an LP type guitar will start at £1800-ish

I do have a Lion junior - flat top LP type with 2x HB that sounded freakin awesome  (a bit heavy but what a tone!). Still at the paintshop being done and will be back in a week or so.

It does look grand natural, I think it's the binding - it really sets it off.

Needs a trussrod cover though.

It's a work in progress as you sit it there
I have it booked in for a vintage 2 tone sunburst and it will get a truss rod cover!

If I remember from badgermark's topic - Gordon Smith are the dogs bollicks. And not the good dogs bollicks. The dogs bollicks after being neutered type of ones.

EDIT: Was going to quote from the post but there were too many,

where are feline based?

Ive been looking at the ones cropping up on ebay

I may be able to save more if i can wait that long for a extra guitar.

Hmm maybe a SG or explorer type...

I dont really like GS's too much i have had loads of bad reviews off people that have owned them tried some that were horrible and got one good review.

The turquoise Lion that I grew so fond of (see above) sold so I started to make myself a replica, until the guy who bought the Turquoise guitar found out and now he wants that one as well........

I shouldn't complain at all - I just wanted one for myself though!

I'll have to make one in secret now .....
