Check out any of his soundtracks, theyre usually better than the actual films (Hmmm must listen to the 5th Element soundtrack on the way home tonight)

controversial - i'm a massive luc besson fan

I wasn't referring to the Bresson films, but some of the others he has worked on such as Rollerball, Goldeneye & Bulletproof Monk.
Though I did quite enjoy the latter film, the soundtrack was more interesting.
On the mention of Eric Serra I don't suppose you know of a tab for the main riff from "Little light of Love" as for some reason I just can't work it out. It's probably my favourite guitar riff.

ah agree with you then ;)
regarding 'little light of love' i'm afraid i don't have the tab. thats a very mature choice for favourite guitar riff though - its does fit the song excellently - i'm not sure i'd choose it though, but i see what you mean.

Well I'm still childish enough to have number 2 as Sunshine of your Love & 3 is 8 Miles high. However those top 3 do tend to change position with each other every few weeks (but it's always the same 3 riffs).
However for some reason my ear is attracted to Eastern sounding "modes" (as highlighted by my #3 choice), unfortunitely I can get my head around the Eastern styled even less well than the more conventional riffs :(
Anyway I am now in the mood to go out and get another couple of soundtrack albums (as well as watch the 5th element again))
