Evening all. Can anyone recommend me a decent but cheap (not over £100.00) recording interface. All I need is 2 line ins (one for guitar and one for vocals/other instruments) that can be recorded on at the same time.
I already have cubase so recording programmes aren't too much of a problem.
Cheers,
Ian.

line 6 toneport ux1
i have one and its amazing.

Can you use the toneport as just an audio interface? I'm planning on mic'ing my amp up with an SM57 and don't really want to use the line 6 simulations - unless it's late at night

yeah it has a xlr input for mics
and some mic preamp models
and also you can completely bypass the modelling section

Sounds good to me and it's within my budget! Cheers.

you can get them for about £30 on ebay theres also a higher model with more in/outs

I have a Line6 Toneport UX2 and it's fantastic, the models are great and I find it to be perfect for home recording and practise.
