Title: Recording interfaces
Post by: Ian Price on February 10, 2008, 07:36:18 PM
Evening all. Can anyone recommend me a decent but cheap (not over £100.00) recording interface. All I need is 2 line ins (one for guitar and one for vocals/other instruments) that can be recorded on at the same time.

I already have cubase so recording programmes aren't too much of a problem.

Cheers,

Ian.

Can you use the toneport as just an audio interface? I'm planning on mic'ing my amp up with an SM57 and don't really want to use the line 6 simulations - unless it's late at night

and also you can completely bypass the modelling section

I have a Line6 Toneport UX2 and it's fantastic, the models are great and I find it to be perfect for home recording and practise.
