Hi all,
I was wondering why only Warpigs were available with allen bolts when you get them uncovered (I think the allen bolts look cooler and more rock n roll than traditional screws).
Also do allen bolts make a tonal difference to the pickup, could someone please explain it to me.
Thanks,
Rob

You can get whatever screw, bolt, slug you want on request in the comment box when ordering.

Will allen bolts give different tonal qualities to say, a nailbomb than getting it normally. What will this be?
Thanks,

There is a marginal difference......but I forget what now
I think its that screw poles, because they have a rounded top, distribute the magnetic field more and so pick up a wider vibration of the string and have more low end.
Could be wrong though.
And I'll bet you 2p and a sausage sandwhich (lovingly crafted with finest suasages) that moving the pickup up or down 1mm will make much more difference.
