so that its fixed.
I dont care for it anymore i never actually use it in any of my songs and im sick to death of it.
Whats the best and cheapest way to make it solid
so far all ive found is a tremelno
ive been told to wedge a piece of wood under it but i think that will look quite messy

What type of trem are you trying to block? Floyd rose of standatd Fender style? The block of wood works well for Fender styles trems - I have done it myself. It also doesn't look messy as the trem is blocked off in the body of the guitar - squeeze it behind the tone block and the springs for the trem will keep it in place and make sure the trem doesn't move.
Not sure how blocking a floyd rose trem would work as I have never tried to!

Yeah. When i was told to just block it witha piece of wood i thught the guy meant under the actual tremolo unit, hence why i thought it would look a bit naff.
Thanks guys.

another idea they work quite well can be fully locked, halfe locked or still be used as a trem(not that you want to, also not to bad to fit, have one on one of my guitars)

That is actually my other option.
when its free is it as smooth as using it as a normal trem?

yeah can be set so is half trem so can divebomb or fully open yeah has no spring so doesn't really get in way as long as you put in right no probs
