In case you haven't seen them. He runs VintageModern and Slash Signature Heads in stereo. I got one side already <LOL>

He's still using Marshall Silver Jubilee's for cleans (which are the base for his sig model) appearantly.
Nice gearspotting there.
-
im surprised he is using Vintage Moderns in his dirty sound, their was nothing wrong with his old dirty sound using 2 slash sigs/silver Js
he is using a lot more effects than before.. used to be just a boss delay, wah and talk box... and i dont think he uses that dunlop sig wah that was on top of his rack... the rack mount ones with the controllers is a lot more likely... dunlop could have made him controllers that look like his sig wah tho.

Wish the interviewer had broken his arm and disabled him from playing forever :( And I'm a tolerant person...

I love those Les Pauls.
-
I love the look of the flame top Slash Sig - beat to hell as well!
Great find Hunter :)

If he'd stayed in Gn'R you'd never have had to hear him again!
Although I see Amazon are taking pre-orders for Chinese Democracy, but I'll believe it when I see it.

sounds like Slash calls it dunLAP TV in the beginning...
-
must be quite new as certainly was'nt "seen" using them with VR short time ago when I saw them. Either that or were 'round back', or could it even be "Product Placement" ala Billy Gibbons who still had Crates on stage recently when Elwood had his 1 off rack mount Mojave Scorpion running in the back?
-
Its all poo. He gets paid to play gear in an advert and I bet he uses something entirely different...
-
double post
-
its not unknown for someone to use the shell of the amp/cab they are endorsing, but have something else inside it.. or just have the cabs and amps onstage, and then backstage their real rig running... aslong as it looks like they are using the amps, the manufacturer will be happy
most of the time you see amps on stage, they wont be using them, unless its a very small venue.
-
Slash does NOT use the Slash signature wahs, he just uses a rackmount wah with multiple controllers across the stage.
Wanna watch them vids though, I adore Slash but why would he take to the VM's though? His tone is $%ing incredible as it is.

Well it's hard to tell, I mean we don't know as long as we haven't seen any bank statements or real evidence.
What struck me is that SteveD (maestro, the father of the Vintage Modern), who is a Marshall employee, states very precisely:
Quote: "No one, and I mean NO ONE gets money from Marshall for using their amps. What they do get is total support and service anywhere in the civilised world in return for promo and advertising. Now that is something far more valuable to an artist than a quick buck!"

Hmm, what to believe, ay?
TBH, I don't care so much if Slash plays a VM, as long as I can play one.
