Hi
So I'm currently looking for a not too expensive 24 fret fixed bridge guitar to play metal on mostly downtuned stuff like Inflames and Children of Bodom. I was thinking of putting 2 nailbombs in it as I've used these before and theyre definately well suited to it.
Something I was looking at was a fender telecaster blackout:

Problem is these are hard to find, oh yea I'm a bit of a Fender fanboy but I don't think Fender are really famous for their metal guitars.
So any ideas let me know as I have no ideas.
Cheers

ESP Viper.
Edit: What's your budget?

Pure rock. Not many manufacturers use a 25.5" scale neck, so if you're used to that (like myself) you will struggle to find something that's not Fender that fits your requirements.

Any of the ESP series guitars might be a good start.
Try Blackmachine guitars too. I think they have BK's in them as standard.

Pretty much any superstrat maker uses it :? :?: :? :?:

Jesper uses his Explorer almost religiously now, he used to use a Gibson Voodoo explorer for quite a while.
Bjorn uses ESP Eclipses and Les Pauls. All mahogany.
Alexi uses his ESP Offset signature V. Alder with a maple neck.
Basically, I'd go for EMGs, and a ESP Eclipse or Viper through either a Powerball or a 5150.
That'll get you the Gothenberg tone.
