Point yer PC towards Valve's "Steam" service and get the Demo (at least) of Audiosurf. It's part guitar Hero, part Klax, part Frequency, with a splash of Vib Ribbon in there. I'm developing an obsession!
That it can make a level from any MP3 in your collection is awesome. I wouldn't start with Slayer, though!

Cheers for the headsup!
Its on DL right now :>
-
Aye, well, if any of you get the full thing, post friendnames etc...
Might as well engage in pointless adolescent one-upmanship, or friendly competition. Whichever floats yer boat!
If you have it, I find Thin Lizzy's Cold Sweat makes a fairly intense level!

Sounds...odd....and therefore I shall probably get addicted fast! Downloading no, hehe.

ITS AWESOME!
Will probably end up buying it since the demo ran out :x
Someone try beat my 81k high score on Clayman by in flames on casual :D

Ill try to beat that later :D

I despise guitar hero.
:P
That is all.
As you were.
-
yeah but the only similarity between this and guitar hero is coloured blocks that you get
but your flying a ship on this to cool music :D

Guitar Hero and Rock Band are just a modernization/combination of the games Simon and Klax. Put them together and you have Harmonix's games.
That being said, Guitar Hero and Rock Band are fun with their deceptively simple and addictive gameplay.

What are your best/Favourite Songs/Levels so far?
I'm going with Focus and "Hocus Pocus". Varied pace and dynamics make it good. To be technical about it, like.
All Clutch songs seem to produce good results as well.
-
the best songs ive found so far are. (im gonna get laughed at here)
Micheal jackson - beat it
nakatomi - children of the night.
trivium - to the rats
trivium - departure
metallica - no leaf clover
megadeth- washingtons next

I wouldn't worry. This 'puter is the house music server, so I've got all my better half's tunes on here.
I have even tried some Take That....
