The shop didnt have cover i wanted for the pickup i wanted, but i have ordered a BKP for my EC-1000VHB. Im getting a chrome covered Painkiller, should be here in the next couple of weeks, altho ive to phone the shop on Monayd or Tuesday to see when it will be in.
I could have got a Miracle Man in the burnt chrome covered clothing, but decided against it as i think i will get one of them in my Highway 1 Strat for coolness.
I am looking forward to getting it, the shop also throws in a free CTS pot with every pickup purchace over £75, whitch is awsome service i think.

Awesome!
I have exactly the same guitar with a calibrated set of Black Dogs and i was not disappointed :D
-
good choice! I have a black covered Painkiller in my PRS standard 24 and it sounds awesome. Thinking of getting a Painkiller put into my 7 string too.
-
I am really looking forward to it, but i think im gonna take my Strat in and get it done in a couple weeks time, get a Miracle Man in the bridge, a Lil 59' or a SSL-1 in the neck, still undecided about the middle, i think thats gonna be the biggest decision for my Strat.
I think BKPs are gonna be awsome to have.

Welcome to the family :)

Free CTS pots? what shop?
-
Sorry to be a killjoy, but why didn't you just order it direct from Tim?
And welcome :D

The shop, one here in Glasgow... Thats all ill say as i dont want them to be overloaded with orders.
As for the direct from BKP, i dont like ordering over the internet, i dont think its secure enough... Altho if i had a credit card i may do so, but i dont want one of those either, dont trust the things.

I do trust him, but i just dont trust the internet, how do i know my pc hasnt been hacked and someone is watching me enter my details. Thats where i get my complex from.
If i get more BKPs i will get them from the the BKP site and see how things go.

Glasgow shop that stocks BKPs... Guitar Guitar or Jimmy Egypts then?

My bet would be on Jimmy ...

I've ordered:
1 x The Mule humbucker - Calibrated covered set (A4 - black with black allen screws, tim suggested the mules to play Beatles, so it was what I did)
5. Coil Potted
6. Leg Long (1/2")
4. Conductor Braided 2
3. Cover Black
2. Spacing 50 mm
1 x Baseball Hat
4 x 500K CTS with hardware
1 x Jack Socket - Switchcraft ¼inch input
2 x 0.022µF
Anybody have the BKP baseball hat?? :D Never saw it!

Both on the ball there soon to be (for me) fellow BKP Glasgow users.
GuitarGuitar had one of those pretty beaten up Nailbombs, looked cool, but in a camo axe that would look best. Jimmys is probably the best of the lot, its the one in SoundControl that i use. And as for prices, they are probably the best ive seen, with exeption(s) maybes Strung Out for Push/Pull pots and Merchy for Seymour Duncans.
