Title: Problem with TC Electronic G-Major
Post by: Brow on February 23, 2008, 06:15:48 PM
Hey guys

I finally got my rack system built that I mentioned a while ago (Marshall JMP1, TC Electronics G-Major and Marshall EL84 20/20 Power Amp) all the 50w+ amps I tried were more power than I needed, anyways, I got it all up and running and getting good sounds of it, but I've developed a strange problem with the G-Major........ it won't seem to let me tell it to mute the Tuner when I select a specific patch on my JMP1.

I originally had it all set up and MIDI mapped to my JMP1 but then the TC stopped allowing audio through it, so I had to reset it. Since then, I tell it to 'learn' the patch selection to mute the tuner and it won't work.

Has anyone ever had this problem themselves, or could help me resolve it?

Cheers.

Craig

Sorry, I've not even got beyond the most basic functions of the unit, despite having had mine for >2 years.

I find it a far from intuitive to use & still can't get my head round anything on it without the manual handy...  If I bought it again I'd get a Rocktron XPression instead.

Sounds damn nice though...

Yeah, I agree it sounds nice. Got mine all programmed up and sounding ok, it just won't mute when I tell it to
