Title: Ibanez RG550 wiring help

Well, I have an Ibanez RG550 re-issue a new middle pickup (single coil) a push pull pot and a 5 way switch..

What kinda things can I do with it?

I was thinking when the pot is pulled it puts the single pickup out of phase with whatever pickup is selected via the switch.

This even possible?

any idea's would be great



I have 0 knowledge of how to draw/wire these things up so be kind  :lol:

Here is a Humbucker schematic, but the BKP color code matching  that follows might help.

BKP black= IBZ blue
BKP white= IBZ white
BKP green = IBZ black
BKP red =IBZ red

this is how you wire a on/on switch or push/pull pot to allow a pickup to be out of phase with another pickup
