Title: Robert Keeley on BKP
Post by: nineacres on August 26, 2005, 11:17:15 AM
Just seen this on Robert Keeley's website (http://www.robertkeeley.com/faq.php) - at the bottom of web page:

"PICKUPS!!! What does Robert Like for Pickups? Well, many really....I do like Fralin, I like all the Fender stuff, including the Noiseless, and Lace and all the custom shop stuff, I like EMG for my telecasters, but, BUT...this is really sweet...Try Tim Mills in the UK. This man and his company are really tought to beat! I hate terrying out pickups once I've spent money...but this is gonna be easy! Tim Mills - Managing Director Bare Knuckle Pickups Ltd www.bareknucklepickups.co.uk Tel:+44 (0)1598 763666 Fax:+44 (0)1598 763270 "

... and the beat goes on  8)

Don't be so cynical Willo.............sure Robert and I are friends but only through buying each others products.
We have Keeley UK on our stand at trade fairs and it works really well for both of us. Robert is a very clever guy, very genuine too and we both have similar mindsets when it comes to our respective companies-we both push for the best we can achieve and we also both work like dogs

i know Tim, i know! i didn't mean that to be sarcastic! Keeley and BK are all top-notch stuff, i was just surprised to see your name crop up in a Harmony Central review and i wasn't certain it was you - but like i say, no sarcasm intended! sorry for any misunderstanding

Sounds more like a bit of mutual respect going on to me.

Congrats Tim, Mr Keeley is highly respected for the tone of his pedals & modded pedals, so props from him is of no small order!
