Alder body + OFR.
What would you recommend? Another Miracle Man? Perhaps an A5 Miracle Man?
Also, while I'm on the subject:
Is there a way to get a black anodized cover for the nickel cover?
Is such a thing possible?
Thanx! :)

What do you want it to do??
I like my Nailbomb, it's not quite as huge sounding as a Miracle Man
The VHII a good all-rounder, but lower output. It's a great tone though!
-
I agree with Yngwie, a VH II would sound great as would a Nailbomb.
Yes we do have black covers, wide space too 8)

TO- I'm really looking at getting a Holy Diver for my strat. Maybe you should consider one too.
-
The Nailbomb looks the most interesting ...
Tim, it looks like the output of the VHII is close to that of the Screamin' Demon. I actually play with my Demon sunk down low. How would you say the 2 compare (if a comparison is possible)?
-
The VH II is quite a different pickup as the coils are wound with quite a healthy offset  . Don't get to strung up in DC res, it's largely irrelevant when comparing the resistance of different wire.
The VH II is 42 AWG plain enamel, the Demon will almost certainly be solderable poly enamel which has a spikey mid and less harmonic detail.
Alot of players buy the VHII thinking it'll only do the Eddie tone but it does so much more-as usual so much is in the hands of the player too.
HJM has one in the bridge of his PRS and it sounds amazing.
We'll get some clips up in the players room after the weekend hopefully.

I just wish it turned you into Eddie....

Tims right (obviously :D ) The VHII sounds nothing like a Screamin Demon despite the similar output readings. The unbalanced coils of the VHII give it a cool transparent single coil edge which the Demon lacks, whilst still being able to deliver a really clear big humbucking sound that stays nice and focussed, even with heaps of gain. If you want a clean sound with balls and dont mind putting in a little extra work, the VHII is a clear winner!! I have the Holy Divers too. I like 'em both, but for me the VHII's have the edge.

Hmmmm .... well, I really gotta hear this!!
