Title: The mule and Warpig/painkiller?
Post by: Svaw on March 03, 2008, 06:11:43 PM
Hello. i just bought a Les paul body, no humbuckers no knobs. nothing.

I been thinking about a Warpig setup with the pig in the bridge and the painkiller in the neck. how that sounding?

Or The mule in the bridge  and Warpig/painkiller in the neck.

Can somebody help me? have a really hard time here.

Cheers  / Svaw

I think this one would not be a nice idea...

I've heard that Warpigs are OTT in a Les Paul. I'm hopefully getting my Les Paul back this weekend - and that's got a pair of Painkillers in, so I'll let you know what I think...

Honduran Mahogany.

Got this at Ebay. so want to get a nice clean sound but still get that heavy sound in solos.

Probably the reverse about the Mule/Warpig...

I can be wrong, but a Nailbomb bridge with Mule neck could work very well in this scene

Wintersun had that combo, and ended up replacing the Mule becuase it wasn't powerful enough to pair with the NB. I think you're better off with a Nailbomb set than any of the previously mentioned.
