That's a fantastic product description.... I'll take 10
-
Best product description ever.
-
I browsed around that site and noticed that BKPs are cheaper there than direct from the shop. Any reason for that?
-
I'm sold!!! That is pure genius.. words cannot express my admiration for the guy who wrote that.
-
It's very entertaining indeed, but I'm totally in the dark as to what the pedal actually does....
It sounds like it should be Nile-in-a-box, but maybe not?

BKP's are always cheaper if they aren't direct from the shop. What's the point in buying them from Coda if they are the same price as getting them straight from Tim who can customize them to your specs.

Its a dual distortion and boost.
One is a fendery thing, the other is a plexi-y thing. The boost is....well, a boost.
It is a bit silly that it doesnt tell you what it is. Entertaining blurb is all well and good, but a product description would be nice!
Dolphins blurb is more usefull in that regard.

Strange, when you read the actual description it's hard to figure why they've called it "Death Rattle". It sounds quite genteel and sophisticated really.
-
what an excellent description :)
-
A quote from Red Dwarf -
"The long drawn out death rattle of a man suffering from terminal flatulence".
Maybe that's where it comes from?
-
I don't need the pedal but I'll have some of the stuff that guy was smoking when he wrote the product discription.
-
ToadWorks Death Rattle is something dark and twisted. It is not what you expect. It is pure evil. Keep your children away. If they play with it they will develop a skin condition. If you buy it your dog will hate you. Your parents will disown you. No one will like you. If your boss finds out you will get fired.
The Death Rattle is upon you, and there's nothing you can do about it.
PURE CLASS!

wow, i want to hear this thing at work now! 8) Every product description should be written that way, though of course, with an alternate technical description to boot. I don't think anybody will be able to beat that product description EVER!

I've a good mind to complain to trading standards. That is very misleading. It was not Space monkeys. They were penguins as anyone with any sense will know. Space monkeys had headed out to another quadrant by the time the Egyptians were in their heyday as a result of the truffle wars.

+1
It's a more appropriate description for a DOD "Death Metal" or Boss MT2 than something that is basically a dual overdrive pedal.
Perhaps the "death rattle" is trying to allude to the "grittiness" of the overdrive?
Either way it's been written in a way to appeal to a totally different audience than the intended one...

That made no sense to me but it was amusing. :D

38th... If I ever market effects, will you write my descriptions?
-
With the utmost pleasure dear boy.
