Title: Clean Playing - Warpig
Post by: Jonny on March 12, 2008, 03:27:27 PM
All played on the Warpig Bridge (Ceramic, mind you)
Toneport UX1,

Amp Model: 1967 Class A - 30 Top Boost
12 O'Clock Drive, 11 Bass, Full Cut, 3 Treble, 3 Volume,
Chorus, Reverb.

It's in Drop B. And the song reference is..

Parkway Drive - Horizons (twice)
Parkway Drive - Carrion (twice)
All Shall Perish - Greyson
Parkway Drive - It's Hard To Speak Without A Tongue

You can hear my nervousness. And.. Yeah. Enjoy.

Yeah true.

I don't even care really that was just a placeholder whilst we thought of a band name.

I dread to think how loose your strings are :P

They're as tight as Jordan's g-string.

Not that I like Jordan. Just an example.

EDIT: Here's a few pics for you, Tony

OK, it might not be AS tight as Jordan's g-string but it doesn't flap about when I'm playing so it does me fine. It's held on by five.

Damn, those cleans are gorgeous.

Especially for a bridge humbucker... with a floyd too!

I'm glad i've decided to go all out 'single bridge humbucker' on my guitars from now on, 'cause theres at least 5 bkp's i want...!

Very good.

How is the Indie?  They still seem to be amazing value to me...

Are they easy to find?  Couldn't find any in Denmark Street the other day...

Mark.

No they're not easy to find. And harder on the internet as their name is the same as a music genre (a cr@p music genre I might add)

Lucky to have come across it in my guitar shop.

But yes, this guitar is a milestone I must say. It's better than the Nez I have and my Jackson.

They're worth looking into, in my opinion.

The neck joint doesn't get in the way for me. I can reach all the up to the 24.

It was £550 when I first went there, but I went there on my birthday so I got free stuff and £50 off. :D

Hehe. They are the gems you find in guitar life if you look hard enough.

GTR in huddersfield.

Also rockshack & music ground in leeds had a few the last time i looked, (that was a good few months back mind you)

but GTR have always had a good amount of them in.

They seem to have quite a few relatively unknown branded guitars in there

like

dragon

indie

rally

i cant think of the others but there were some.
